How can I find out what’s on?
We have a monthly programme that is available free of charge. You can pick this up from the foyer of The Venue. There is also a full listing of Films and Stage on Screen events on our website.
How do I book tickets?
Due to Covid-19 restrictions tickets must be purchased prior to arrival and can be booked online via our website.
We are able to accept phone bookings between 1pm & 8pm on a Wednesday and a Saturday. If we are unable to answer the phone, please leave a message with a contact number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Where Is The Venue?
The Venue is located on the Bishop Grosseteste University campus with access via Longdales Road. For Sat Nav users the postcode is LN1 3DY.
Is there parking available?

I can’t print my tickets, what should I do?
If you are unable to print your tickets, we fully encourage customers to display tickets on a phone or tablet device. If not, please bring your booking reference number to the box office and speak to a member of staff. Please allow plenty of time to do this before the screening.
I have mobility problems; can I still come to The Venue?
Yes, we have a level access entrance for those who struggle with the stairs – just speak to a member of staff on arrival.
Do you sell food and drink?
The Venue bar offers a variety of sweets, crisps, popcorn and both soft and alcoholic drinks. All at reasonable prices!
Do you have a hearing loop?
The auditorium is fitted with a hearing loop and there is a portable one available in The Venue bar.
Do I need to be a member?
No, we have no membership scheme in place.
Does my baby/toddler/young child need a ticket?
Any child or adult wanting a seat/wheelchair space will need a ticket.
Can I bring a baby with me?
Babies are welcome to attend our Family Friendly screenings, but we ask that parents respect the experience of other customers and be prepared to leave the auditorium if necessary.

How do I book a wheelchair space?
We currently do not have the facility to book a wheelchair space in advance, but if you notify a staff member on arrival we will allocate a space to you.
What are your opening hours?
Our screening days are Wednesday and Saturday. Our box-office and bar are temporarily closed and tickets must be purchased via our website.
